dhoom dhaam, pratik gandhi

Yami Gautam and Pratik Gandhi are gearing up for the release of their upcoming comedy film, Dhoom Dhaam, set to hit Netflix on February 14, 2025. Gandhi, known for his notable roles in acclaimed films and series, has been turning heads with his impressive transformation for this movie. The actor, who flaunts a toned physique in Dhoom Dhaam, revealed the hard work behind achieving such a look.

Talking to Bollywood Hungama, Pratik was asked whether he had always had six-pack abs and was simply hiding them. He responded quickly, saying, “I was always like this—maybe not with such sharp definition, but largely the same body frame.” However, he added that getting this defined look involved a lot of effort. “I ate a lot of protein, worked out intensely, and barely got any sleep. I drank very little water and endured cramps—all for this body,” he confessed.

The Madgaon Express actor shared his thoughts on fitness, admitting that while he had read interviews of other actors discussing the challenges of getting in shape, he had a different approach to fitness. He explained, “Toh maine socha tha aisa toh kabhi nahi karunga (I thought I would never do this).”

Despite this, he revealed some of the extreme measures he took for his transformation. Four days before the shoot, Gandhi restricted himself to only one litre of water a day, including all liquid intake like tea and coffee. He also eliminated carbs and salt, which caused discomfort, including irritability, uneasiness, and sleep deprivation. “It may not be noticeable on camera,” he said, but the struggle was real. He eagerly waited for the song sequence to end so he could properly hydrate himself.
